He's baaaaack!
The seasonal fashion genie came to me in a dream last night, and promised to grant three fabulous fashion wishes to my readers today.
As you know, the SFG is a bit slow when granting wishes, so it's probably best you just order your wishes yourself. (He just sent me a pair of Flojos if that's any indication of his procrastination.)
Here are his selection guidelines:
1. A winter coat
2. A pair of winter shoes
3. A winter accessory
Here are my selections:
1. Soia & Kyo Betina-C wool coat - I'm leaning towards the white, but all colors are lovely.
2. Pink Studio Delila bootie - I originally loathed the ankle boot, but its seasonal persistence has worn me down. I'm in love with several pairs, including one - sit down, quick! - by Crocs. Yeah, weird. Of course, all must be paired with opaque tights. I'm not brave enough for bare legs in Chicago.
3. Sweater Floral Earwarmer by Urban Outfitters - An earwarmer that is cute? Sold.

Not to make you feel like you MUST go buy them, but Anthro has those boots for half the price. (I'm totally going to go buy them). http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/catalog/productdetail.jsp;jsessionid=3A6210F6C8BCC0D82F45CBFC7BD4BD46.app43-node5?cross-sell=true&color=bro&navAction=jump&navCount=1&id=844120
I think your commenter army must all be traveling home for Thanksgiving this weekend or planning their busted economy but still festive holiday spread or maybe just assumed you don't usually post on Fridays. Because I'm pretty sure there's a lot of repressed love for the SFG out there among your readership.
Bad enough I stole your Mom's online ID, but then I somehow posted the comment twice and had to delete the second one.
I just want the weather here to be cold enough to wear a sweater if not a coat!!!!!!!!
Every winter I feel like I need to buy a new coat, until I remember that I will only wear it for the few minutes outside between car & house, car & store, etc. on the few days we are in Utah for holidays. My good judgment gets the better of me every time, unless I can find a cheap little number on sale at Old Navy. The only reason I would EVER want to live in a cold climate would be for the wardrobe...
I love your coat choice; it seems like it would keep you quite cozy in chi-town.
What? No shout out to Dansko. They are so fashionable these days.
